Little Miss Muffet

I like to use the headbands we made on Monday to teach the nursery rhyme Little Miss Muffet. My daughter and son had a blast acting this one out!

All you need is a chair or pillow, bowl and spoon, and a spider headband:

Repeat the nursery rhyme:

Little Miss Muffet

Sat on her tuffet

Eating her curds and whey.

Along came a spider

And sat down beside her

And frightened Miss Muffet away!

And have your children act it out as you (and them) recite it! Repeat many times.

Here’s a link to another nursery rhyme: Itsy Bitsy Spider with corresponding activity.
