Simple. Fun! Play bingo with candy corn. I made mine into a candy corn shape, but a pumpkin or simple square would be fine, too! In each box, write skills your child is working on.* Then use candy corn to play bingo. Be sure to tell your children not to eat the candy corn until you’re done (or be sure to have plenty of extras on-hand!).
*An idea for those with older children: When I taught 1st/2nd grades, each child had a bingo sheet with numbers on it. I would then put a math problem on the board. If they had the ANSWER on their sheet, they marked it. Really good for practicing math facts! I’m totally doing sight words with my Kindergartener. He’s going to LOVE it! 🙂
