What better way to teach your children about apples than to visit an apple orchard (we took our grandma this particular year)! You can search U-pick farms in your area on the internet. These are nice because you can go out into the orchard and pick your own apples to take home. The one we go to also gives away free samples of fresh apple cider and has other educational experiences. We like to take our apples home and make this.
