Apple Prints

Fall is coming! Can you smell it?! Can you feel it in the air?! Can you see the colors changing in the sky and in the leaves? Oh, I am loving it! When I think of fall, I think of apples! I will be sharing some of my favorite apple activities the next little while!

 Supplies:

apple cut in 1/2

paint (I like white but any “apple” color would look great!)

paper

Activity:

Teach your child how to press the apple into the paint and then onto their paper to make a print (most kids have a tendency to rub not press). Stamp a couple of apple prints and let dry. When dry,  decorate with crayons (it’s fun to add stems, leaves, seeds, and even worms!).

Other Ideas:

We like to do ours on big paper and laminate. They make great placemats! (see picture above)
