Halloween Patterning

A fun, simple Halloween patterning activity! Perfect for a quick math lesson or to throw in a math center!

Provide a paper like this for your children:

Have them stamp out a pattern with Halloween stamps (great for one-to-one correspondence, as well!):

**It’s also fun to hide the last one (folding it in works great) and have the class, or a friend, figure out what is hidden (what comes next?). My preschoolers loved this! I like that it’s fairly open-ended so the kids just learning patterning can do an ABAB pattern, while the more advanced kids can do a more complicated one, like ABBABB.
