5 Little Speckled Frogs Flannel Board

I love this song/fingerplay! It’s so catchy and lots of fun! When I taught preschool, I made a little “flannel board” set for the kids to play with. They loved playing with it during circle time, as well as for centers (independent/free-play time). You move one frog off the log each time and into the pool. Here it is (once again, I’m not an artist, but kids don’t care…):

5 Little Speckled Frogs

5 little speckled frogs sitting on a speckled log, eating the most delicious bugs (yum! yum!). One jumped into the pool, where it was nice and cool. Now there are 4 speckled frogs (glub! glub!).

Continue until there are no speckled frogs.
