Make a Paper Snowflake

We spent a good portion of the afternoon making paper snowflakes. My 6-year-old needed a basic review and improved with each one that he made. My 3-year-old needed some major guidance at first and started to catch on towards the end. I know this isn’t a new idea, but my kids both loved this simple activity! What I love about this activity is how different each snowflake turns out. The whole fun is in opening the snowflake to see how it looks! My daughter would gasp every time! Too cute!

I like to use coffee filters ’cause they’re round, which makes the snowflakes turn out so cute. But you can use any paper you have on hand, including colors! We hung ours all around our house, and we feel so wintery now!
