Monkey Bread

We’re learning about monkeys this week! For fun in the kitchen today, make some monkey bread! My aunt told me years ago this yummy breakfast treat got its name because people dig in like monkeys! 🙂

Monkey Bread


18 frozen dinner rolls

3 1/2 oz. package cook and serve butterscotch pudding mix

1/2 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon


Place rolls in a greased bundt pan; sprinkle with pudding mix. Set aside. Combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon; pour over rolls. Cover tightly with buttered aluminum foil; let rise overnight. Uncover and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes; carefully invert onto a serving platter (I recommend not skipping this step. It makes the rolls so yummy and moist!).
