Make Your Own Stick Horse

This week, I will share some fun farm activities. I loved this one I found at Everything Preschool, especially if you don’t have your own stick horse. If you click on the link, there are many more fun farm activities!

Supplies:

Wrapping paper tubes

Cardboard

Paint/Markers/Crayons

Yarn

Activity:

Use an old wrapping paper tube. Christmas is a good time to gather these and save them for the year! Cut out a horse’s head (leave a neck to go inside the tube) from cardboard and let your children design their horse.  They can paint them and use yarn for the mane and halter.  Help your children attach them with glue and tape.

Go here for another arts and crafts idea from the past.
