Seed Graphing

I guess this is similar to Tuesday’s activity, but you’re doing an official graph this time! I chose seeds we had planted in our garden, and we then predicted which seeds would grow into which plant. My kids enjoyed this one!

Directions:

1. Sort the seeds by seed type.

2. Draw a picture of each seed at the bottom of the graph. (we just sorted and placed)

3. Count each seed type and record it on the graph (for younger children, they can place the seeds on the graph, and then color).

4. Discuss.

*Sorry for the funky picture. It is really dark and stormy here today, and my camera’s batteries are dying!
