Snowball Bingo

Make your own Bingo board, based on whatever skill you are working on (ours is numbers). Then use snowballs (mini marshmallows) to mark the spaces. So fun!

  1. Love the idea… Isabelle doesn’t show a lot of interest in learning letters or numbers so maybe something like this will help. Ty had mastered those skills by this point.

  2. ShayLynn,

I know. We’re in the same boat here, as well. My daughter doesn’t even have interest in learning the letters in her whole name, whereas, my son had it mastered at this age.

What has given me hope though is that I know she’s okay. We had her tested for a lisp before Christmas, and they test all areas, and she did fine!! Sometimes I wonder if anything’s going in, and then when I saw the results of the tests, I realized that she’s got it and is fine. Maybe she doesn’t know her letters and numbers yet, but she will. I just need to be patient and not compare her to my advanced child. This is normal for this age, you know?! 🙂

Like you said, we have to make it fun and not so structured with some kids. And with our girls, I think that’s the key.

Any ideas of what you’re doing at home with her that you’d be willing to share?
