Santa Song

I got this years ago from a fellow teacher. You can make letters for the kids to hold up, and then write HO on the back of each one. When the letter is replaced, they turn their sign around to say HO. Way too fun!

Santa Song

(sung to the tune of Bingo)

There is a man with a long white beard

And Santa is his name, Ho

S-A-N-T-A, S-A-N-T-A, S-A-N-T-A

And Santa is his name, Ho.

There is a man with a long white beard

And Santa is his name, Ho

HO-A-N-T-A, HO-A-N-T-A, HO-A-N-T-A

And Santa is his name, Ho.

Repeat, replacing each letter with “Ho.”

  1. My kindergartner brought this home from school last week. We had a blast singing and playing it. His teachers had printed out the letters for Santa on a red piece of paper longways (landscape). Then they folded it down so the top part covered the letters. They then made 4 cuts up to the fold, so you could cover each letter as it is no longer being used. (Hope that made sense!) It was lots of fun to sing and play!

  2. BTW, we didn’t do the “HO” part. We just clapped like in the normal Bingo song, but if you wanted, you could write “Ho” on each of the cuts and as they are layed down, they would know to say “Ho.”

  3. So cute! Thanx for sharing, Gina!
