Learning With Leaves

Today, we’re going to take our findings from this week’s walk and do some learning activities with them. I’m going to provide magnifying glasses for my kids, and we’re going to look at the leaves and acorns and pinecones and discover them. I’m hoping my kids will ask questions, and I will point out certain features, such as the veins on the leaves.

We’re also going to sort our findings, especially the leaves, and discover that leaves are different, but they also have some things in common.

We are also going to do some crayon rubbings over the leaves, pinecones, and acorns.

It should be a lot of fun!
