Auntie Claus

Book Cover

Auntie Claus by Elise Primavera

The Kringle family loves Christmas and their place is decorated year-round. But no one loves it more than Great-Aunt, Auntie Claus! Auntie Claus lives on the top floor of the apartment building and is very mysterioso. Each year, she disappears for a business trip during the Christmas holidays; no one knows exactly where she goes or what she does. This year Sophie is determined to find out! So, she stows away and ends up learning the lesson of her life! The rest of the story “is for me to know and you to find out.”

Cute book! Twice during the story you get to flip the book and read it the long way. Kids get a kick out of that! There is a great, entertaining storyline, as well as a lesson for kids. This book has been described as “magical.” And, as a side note, Auntie Claus’ voice is fun to read with an accent.

I just found this fabulous website by the author dedicated to Auntie Claus. There are a couple sequels to the story, which I haven’t read, but sound so good. Check it out:
