It has been really cold here lately. And when I say cold, I mean COLD!!! There have been some mornings this past week when my kids go to the bus stop at 8:30, and it’s below zero! It’s too cold to go outside and enjoy all the snow we have in our yard so I was wondering how to help my kids enjoy it when I remembered this idea Lauren shared a bit ago. I thought it was so good that I’d share it with all of you!
Pile a few scoopfuls on a cookie sheet.
Build a snowman (we found a spray bottle to be helpful for packing the snow) and decorate it with whatever you’ve got on hand. Buttons, dry beans or seeds, mittens, straws, toothpicks, fruits and veggies (gotta have the carrot nose), hard candy, or whatever your little one can dream up!

Wow, I inspire myself!
Ha ha, thanks for digging this up and helping me deal with cabin fever today. You are great Angee.
