My son came to me last week with some questions about worms so guess what we’re learning about this week! Yep, worms! Should be a fun, interesting week! I have to admit that I’ve never studied worms before so I’m excited to see what we come up with!
Today we did some “worm” art. I cut a bunch of different lengths of yarn and prepped the kids for painting. They then dipped the yarn into different colors of paint and put them on their paper. Sometimes, they pressed down. Sometimes, they dragged it across their paper. Either way, it all came out great! It’s supposed to look like worms crawled across their papers. They had a lot of fun with this one and didn’t want to stop! I will warn you though: this one is messy! We did it right before baths, and I’m so glad we did!
