My 2-year-old daughter wanted to make a turkey she could play with. She saw one like this in my files and wanted one for herself. She loves playing with little figurines and making voices and such. It’s adorable! So, together, we made this turkey. I’m not much of an artist, but she loves it and has played with it all evening! The feet and beak have been glued on numerous times, and the head/neck is broken in three places and taped!! Too much fun!
I love how open-ended this project was and that she could help by gluing things together.
When I taught school, “Design-a-Turkey” would be our art center for the week. I would leave out open-ended supplies and have the kids design their own turkey. It was always fun to see what they would come up with!

That looks like a fun little turkey! Glad she is having so much fun with it. Extra glue and tape are always a testament to something that is well loved!
